Beautiful, inspiring modern guide to yoga
Another great book from Nicola! Most people, including me, focus on the physical poses. This book explains all aspects of yoga in a clear, gentle manner, it's almost like Nicola is there with you, talking you through the practice. I love how she narrates all her books in a concise, but straightforward way. This book shows you what to actually do with your mind throughout the poses, rather than just how to breathe, and how to incorporate the yoga philosophy in daily life. There are lovely illustrations, which are less intimidating than photographs of people in each pose. This book is great for anyone interested in yoga, from tentative beginner, to experienced yogi. I was sceptical about the journal prompts, but they do help, together with the poses, guiding you to feel strong, calm and free.
