Natural 100% Pure Olive Oil Soap Dalan Antique White 100% Olive Oil Soap 5 x 180gr

I use this soap regularly it looks rough but very good for your skin

I bought this thinking it was going to be a white version of the other Dalan Olive Oil soap, but that's not what this is. According to the packaging, the ingredients listed are:Sodium Tallowate, Aqua, Sodium Olivate, Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Sodium Chloride, Cymbopgon Nardus oil (citronella), Diphenyl Ether.So it's not a 100% olive oil soap, it's also made with tallow, palm oil and palm kernel oil. I suggest the seller updates the product title and description, and includes the ingredients in the listing.With that out of the way, I didn't actually mind this was different because I'm into trying different soaps, and I had already tried the other actual 100% olive oil Dalan soap. I liked that soap, but like all olive oil soaps it didn't lather particularly well so I was hoping this one would lather better because of the palm kernel oil. Oddly, it didn't. So I'm not really sure what the advantage of this is to be honest - it includes palm oil so if you are trying to avoid that it's a no-go and if you're vegan or trying to avoid animal products it's not for you either. Personally I wasn't avoiding either of those so I'm fine with the ingredients, but I was hoping for a nicer lather.It is scented with citronella as well, so it smells like those bug repellent candles. May or may not be appealing to you. I don't mind it but it was a bit unexpected (again, due to no ingredient listing on the product page).3 stars for being a natural, hand-made soap at a reasonable price. Nice large bar too. Loses 2 stars due to poor lather (for no apparently reason) and misleading product description.
