Refresh Shave Gel 140ml (4.7 oz)

Hands down, the best shave cream/gel/foam I have used.Most shaving creams and gels irritate my skin to some degree, especially if not completely removed after shaving, making thorough rinsing essential. Not the case with this gel, however - it is not irritating at all, and I find it somewhat soothing to the skin. It works well for softening and lubricating the beard, gives an excellent close shave, rinses easily from your face and the razor, and a little goes a long way.It does require a wet face, and occasionally a little additional water during shaving, as it seems to dry quickly; but the results are excellent. It does not provide masses of foam, so if you're looking for something to hide behind, maybe look elsewhere... but I prefer to see what I'm doing, and it works brilliantly.It's my favorite shave product ever.

Made my face break out in a way that dr. broners shave did not

I was quite disappointed with this product. It feels like a combination of aloe vera and glycerin (think K-Y jelly). Sure enough, the second ingredient is Aloe, and the fourth ingredient is glycerin. (The first ingredient is "aqua", which is parenthetically defined as water. Inside joke perhaps?) Unfortunately, aloe may be soothing for burns, but isn't a great lubricant, and glycerin quickly goes from lubricating to tacky as it dries. That's exactly what shaving with this gel feels like: little to no lather, spreads on thick (goopy), starts drying out at around 60 seconds and soon has to be re-wet and spread before continuing.It does, however, elicit thoughts of "primal" things. Like sharpened rocks, wooden wheels, pointy sticks, grass underwear, pig bladder socks and other benefits of the primal life. I'm happier with the more modern solutions, like Taylor Shaving Cream (https://www.amazon.com/Taylor-Old-Bond-Street-Sandalwood/dp/B0007MW2ZW) or even the standard Gillette/Edge shaving gels.

This stuff is amazing. Very smooth shave. I switched to gel because the regular foam can was leaving rust stains in my shower.(I shave in the shower) So i wanted a tube of gel. I don't know how this stuff works but it is works better that anything I've used. I'm 31 and take good care of myself and I recommend this to everyone. Also you can use it on your body. I used this to shave my chest and literally, there was no irritation or redness, at all, even the next day...If you've shaved your chest before then you know that s*** hurts afterwards.

Natural products are not always what they are cracked up to be. Many times, they taste bad and perform poorly against the not-so-natural competition, which makes them a hard pill to swallow. After nearly a month using Primal Earth Refresh Shave Gel, I'm impressed and it has performed well beyond what I expected -- but it isn't perfect for my shaving habits.Why only 3 stars? Well, it's because of my personal shaving habits. I shave every 3 days, at best. And, when the stubble gets that thick, this just doesn't quite have enough lather to make for a comfortable shave. It does allow for a close shave with minimal, if any nicks and cuts with my Harry's razor, however the process is a little more pull-and-cut instead of a quick cut.In addition to shaving my facial hair, I've been using this for my head (full head of hair) and legs (I'm a cyclist). After a week of hair growth, this gel doesn't do the job as well as my typical shaving cream -- it pulls uncomfortably and requires a re-application to shave my head. It does a great job on my legs, however.So, if you are a daily or every-other-day shaver, you'll probably rate this as 4 stars or better, but for me, it's a tough sell. I will add that I love the smell and it does enable a close shave, but is honestly not the best for my 3-day beard growth or my 1-week hair growth.

Hands down this is the best. I have used Nivea for men Sensitive for a year and since then have used Anthony Logistics for men shave gel. This is more slippery, easier to apply, better smelling and more natural than either of those brands. Although Anthony was great and I have used it for about 8 years, I have switched since using this for about a week. Less redness, irritation, bumps or ingrown hairs than either of my previous brands. I use Dorco USA blades and get butter smooth shaves every time with Primal Earth despite my extremely sensitive skin. I typically get a lot of ingrown hairs due to thick/curly facial hair but they have almost disappeared since using Primal Earth.I can't recommend this enough! EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

This shaving cream is expensive because it comes from New Zealand, bu it’s fantastic! I’ve been getting great shaves from the start!

This has the consistency of school glue. It’s terrible.
