B.W. Stevenson Last Two Studio Albums
What a find, rare out of print combo CD in excellent condition containing the last two studio albums of B.W. Stevenson. I was fortunate to see B.W. live several times in the early 1970s when he was in his early 20s - think he was the opening act for a very young ZZ Top at the Ector County Coliseum in Odessa, TX. Such a great voice & talent to lose in 1988 at the age of 38 (staph infection after heart valve surgery). Another reviewer said this CD is like the "lost treasure" of B.W. Stevenson, one of the great singer/songwriters of his day - and that's a perfect description. If you've never heard of "Buckwheat", check him out & you too may become a fan of this amazing talented singer from the past.

Doesn't get any better than this.
One of the greatest voices in all of R&R . We saw BW many times at Liberty Hall in Houston in the 70's. These songs take me all the way back to the best times in my life. What a voice. My Maria, Shambala, The East Indian Company. Wow.

Classic B.W.!
This is like the "lost treasure" of B.W. Stevenson, one of the great singer/songwriters of his day. "We Be Sailin'" is in the stream of Jimmy Buffett and other country rock singers of the '70's and early '80's. The band and the singing is tight and the songs evoke a Caribbean voyage that takes you away from the mundane and everyday. All in all, a great addition for the fan of this great singer.

Oh yeah, we be sailin' !
I was glad to find this album on CD. I owned an original copy of it on 8 track tape that I bought from B.W. Stevenson at a local bar in Huntsville, Texas. Needless to say I haven't been able to listen to it in years. I have been playing it regularly since it arrived and really appreciate it.

Last 2 studio albums and a must have!
For all fans of B.W, this is a must have. For anyone who doesn't already love him, buy this and you will. Another talent taken from us too young.

Where did you go, B. W.?
Most of the songs are run of the mill, but there are two songs that will reverberate over and over in your mind, drawing you back to just listen to them. B.W. might be mundane, but these two need to be in the Hall of Fame. I won't say which two, just listen.....
