The Flintstones Wilma Costume

The wig was really uncomfortable, dress was OK.

The only reason I bought this costume was mostly because the wig looked decent and that it came with the chunky necklace. The dress wasn't the traditional Wilma look, but I was willing to go this route because I believed this was the best value overall (instead of paying more for a wig and the dress I would have rather had, separately).This wig is great. Not perfect, but good enough. A little flat and small, but that is to be expected for just about any wig you get from a package. Luckily, I have a pretty normal sized noggin, maybe a little more on the petite side, so the wig fits me fine. On to the necklace. Its good. Its on a thin elastic string. I saw another person complaining that it hangs too low and the "beads" all hang down leaving slack in the back. It does, BUT you can lift it up to a choker and then the elastic will shrink back and the beads will all return together (make sense??) ...Now for the dress. Its big. I usually wear a size 10 (to be conservative) and can sometimes fit an 8, depending on brand and what not. I am 5'3", have a short torso and about 140 lbs. SO, a normal medium should have fit, but I would accurately label this dress as a large. Its very baggy. This material is like a furry, soft felt like flannel feel and it has a bit of stretch to it. If you wear a Large, order medium, and it will fit you more like the photo. If you wear a Medium, order a Small or you will be wearing a frumpy white potato sack. If you wear a small, you better be good at sewing! Thankfully, I have a sewing machine, so I can easily take in the sides so that it will actually be somewhat formfitting as the photo depicts. I'm a little worried about the length, too. I feel like it goes up a little high on one side and I may expose myself if I'm not wearing undershorts. Also, once its altered, I will have to wear a slip or something because when this material is against your skin, it becomes a little transparent. In other words, don't plan to wear a neon colored thong and bra with this! SO because I can fix this problem, its not that big of a deal. I'm just happy its loose and not too tight!

Costume was good but runs large.. I had read reviews that it ran large so I got 1 size smaller that I would have..it was still too large. I had to take it in at least an inch on both sides.. otherwise it was perfect.

For the price, this was a great steal! However, the material is literally felt and not stitched very well. Be careful when you pull at the dress to adjust it because you will thin out the material even more- the dress is see-through, so I’d suggest wearing a slip underneath. They made the dress very boxy and unfortunately, it was very big on the me from the waist up and the lower section of the dress was snug. I feel this dress is definitely meant for those who are of a straight figure rather than curvy. On the plus side, I really like how it came with the necklace and wig, which was nicely styled.
