Solid heavy duty Rescue 8 that should be in everyone’s kit
This is a very well made over built rescue 8 that has good holding power and is easy to use. Our technical rescue team uses petzl ID and clutches for descenders, but there are still some things this can do that those cannot. I keep one in my bag for those situations or even as a back up device if we need to send equipment or other people down. Paired with a heavy duty locking carabiner, it’s a good low tech solution that can get you out of a jam.

Robust solid steel rescue eight.
I got what I asked for...a steel rescue eight. Rappelling no problem. Rigging no problem this device can handle it. It's big and heavy-duty.

Cancer and reproductive harm warning not mentioned
Item comes with a cancer and reproductive harm warning. If I had known this steel rescue eight had cancer causing materials, I would've spent money elsewhere. Not worth the cancer. I spent an extra $3usd for a stainless steel rescue 8. Highly recommend the latter.
