This design is SO much better than the original. The watch stays connected easily, with the Gizmo TWO, the port IS on the correct end for the charger that says it's for the second version. (The FIRST version of both do have the charging ports on the other end.)Our problem, almost from the start (for months now), is that the watch "slow charges" on this stand. I've used different plugs and different outlets, all the same slow charging message. The original charger is much faster. I don't know if it's this charger in general, this specific one, or what, but I wish it did charge like the original.

This stand makes charging the Gizmo 2 watch easier for kids. The original charger is not elevated and sits on a flat surface and makes it harder to know if the watch is correctly “seated” on the charger. This charger increases the likelihood that the watch is always seated on the charger properly and charging. Note that this does not come with a USB charging brick so if you plan to use this as a secondary charger, you’ll need to get a USB charging brick (ie plug for wall with USB jack).

Great idea but unfortunately didn’t work out. This generation gizmo came with a huge design flaw- the charging connection didn’t take into account a wrist band. We thought gravity would helpFix this. It didn’t. The gizmo would slide forward enough so it just didn’t stay on the connection and we had severalDays of no charge. We bought a flat charging thing much like the one that came with the gizmo but with the cord coming out the side away from the band. No problems since.

The part that charges is on the wrong side of the slope of the charger mount, so your watch is upside down when charging, not like indicated in the picture where it shows sitting right side leaning up.

Using for Verizon Gizmo 2 Disney Edition.The stock OEM charger is horrible. The band gets in the way and it flops around.This stand looks better, functions better and the band can just hang off of it. The only drawback is that the pins are on the wrong end. The Gizmo Watch 2 Disney Edition has the charging pins on the back bottom where this has the pins at the top. Not a huge deal, just counterintuitive.
