Great value, sturdy, you’ll need a butterfly but to secure lights on top.
Overall, these were exactly what I needed. I was able to put LED flood lights on one and prop up a heavy Skelton in a costume on the other with zip ties. The springs were a little stiff so they bounced, but for the price I think they work great. One thing you will need to buy are butterfly nuts to secure your lights. The screw ends come with a plastic cap that doesn’t do much other than protect the threads on the end.The stability was very good and I was able to tighten and hold heavier items which is why I went with this model over others. The bag it came in works well, though like most things the zippers seem like they won’t last long. I recommend buying this for the stands and not the carrying case. I have a feeling I’ll be packing these in other containers in the future anyways.

Good stands, very good value
These are probably 4-star light stands, but the price makes them a five-star value. I have fairly heavy all-steel Novatron monolights. The stands are spring cushioned and pretty stable at full extension. Some people might complain that they're not true air-cushioned, but for me I say so what? Air or spring, I want something to stop the stand from dropping hard if it slips while adjusting. Tall enough, stable enough, and for the right price. The carry case is unnecessary for me, as we'll rarely transport them, it's still a nice padded case I might use for a camera tripod!

Easy to set up, stable, and attractive
I wanted a stand to support LED plant light strips for an indoor ficus bengalensis tree that I have in a room without much natural light. The light strips are about 4' long and 1" × 1" and don't weigh much. I was able to bind them to the stand with zip ties so I could conveniently give the tree the light that it needs without drilling holes into my walls for light brackets. The stands are sturdy and very adjustable, so I can control the height and the size of the triangular footprint needed for the three feet. The price is good, the construction is good, and they are well-designed. Once set up, I don't intend to collapse or adjust them again, so I can't address how durable and convenient they are for buyers who need to repeatedly set them up and pack them up, but as a fixed support, they work very well.and are definitely attractive enough to blend into my indoor home decor, which is modern, technical, and industrial.

Great value!
These are nice quality stands for the price. They are easy to set up and break down. I don't worry about the safety of my equipment while using the stand. The bag is a little awkward to ship, but that's such a minute complaint. Be mindful of wind if using these outdoors with any type of modifier.

An Incredible Upgrade for Just $40
Using this to support a Neewer 32 inch Octagon Softbox. Gained a great deal of flexibility with softbox position by adding a UTEBIT Professional Boom Arm Adjustable 80-140cm to the complete 'kit'. Everything goes together great and looks and performs wonderfully! All three items purchased here on Amazon. Grand Total, about $90. NO other setup sold as a kit comes close to this from what I've discovered unless you're willing to put out 3x the amount. This light stand is heavy duty and has a very wide base stance for added stability. It also appears to have been very finely machined.

Light and strong light stand
I bought this to use for a wedding photography. I have a lot of stand , but these I wanted to buy. Also I tryed it outdoor with a sand bag , works great. The build quality for this not expensive price.

Not Bad
For the price of this product, it does what it needs to. It's not anything fancy but it isn't the worst thing in the world either. I bought a third stand for my light kits and they work as well as any other stand. If I had to note any flaws with it, the tension screws to hold each tier up are not on the longest bolt. So when you loosen it, they tend to fall off and chasing them across the floor is a little inconvenient but otherwise a good product.

This is a great stand for the money!
If you're a photographer like me that's working on a budget or you just need a spare stand this is the perfect option! It's sturdy enough to hold my Godox 31 x 31 softbox with the bowens s mount without toppling over at max height! For outdoor usage I would definitely recommend a lighting assistant as the wind WILL battle with the stand and a good sized softbox at max height. The build quality is alright (although i would rather metal rings for the height adjustment) its been holding up great so far. Like I said this is great budget stand with great height and I will definitely be buying another!

Very satisfied - even though I'm not using it for photography
I bought this for an application which has nothing to do with photography. I'm using it to support a yagi antenna which is occasionally used outdoors for various SDR purposes. It's been excellent for this task. It's not waterproof so I couldn't leave it outside permanently, and have to use it on a dry day. However it's solid and well made, and well able to take the weight of a 4 element 2M yagi which is about 1M x 1.5M in size. Glad I discovered this gadget.

Works well
Small enough for carrying around (in the car) but sturdy enough to hold speedlite flash guns and probably good enough for light flashheads

Sturdy and stable stand!
Great product, easy to set up and stay stable...I separately purchased a mount so that I can use my iPad Pro in Zoom calls.
