A single pole or a pair?
Just received the item and looks fine. I am about to try it out. However, I was under the impression that it was sold as a pair. It says so in the description. I even asked a question trying to find out as much and only one pole showed up at my door. If you order these, be sure to order two. I will have to order another ASAP.

Worth the money
I use it for something it was not designed for and it holds up very well

First night of use finds one minor flaw.
Maybe this only affects this one speaker combination but when using the Electro Voice ETX-15P if you don't start with the speaker pole below the second adjustment hole you can't turn the handle to raise the speaker.So... it's not a deal breaker.Other than that it locks into the ETX-18SP very well, doesn't wobble at all, and the crank is easy to operate.Only time will tell how it works over the long term. Seems like it should do well.
