Just purchased a new stove and decided to try this to see if it would help prevent my boil overs!! I've used it on pasta and potatoes, my two worst offenders, and it works. Put it on the pot and didn't have to watch constantly for it to boil. Left it at full boil to test and stayed contained! It helped prevent the mess salt potatoes make while cooking which really impressed me. Had two tiny spots to remove instead of the normal ring of residue to clean up. It's a bit bulky and I haven't found the perfect storage spot for it yet but it's not going to be sitting in the back of a cupboard never getting used. I want to keep it very handy!! Definitely worth the price!!

This works pretty well. It's a bit unhandy in some ways, but it's certainly better than a pot running over. And, it stores very well with your pots. So, it's always handy... I washed mine in the top shelf of the dishwasher and it did fine...easy to clean.

We LOVE this spill stopper - and it really does work! It has made so much of a difference in the state of our stove top after boiling pasta and whatever else. It is WELL worth the price, and it is priced very reasonably. I advise anyone who does any stove top cooking ever to get one of these. You won't be disappointed in your purchase.

For the most part this works just as advertised. If you leave the heat too high you can still get a boil over but with a little care no more rice goop on the stove top.

I had purchased myself one months ago and bought these for my kids. Nothing ever boils over at my house now. A must have for your kitchen - especially if you get distracted and forget to watch your boiling pot. Cleans up in the dishwasher.

After boiling over onto my stove every time I boiled something I ordered this. It really fit the bill for me. Fits my big pots just fine.
