I have these monitoring room temperatures and sending data via Wifi. They work just fine. I have not tried them in deep sleep mode.

The price on these boards is quite reasonable, and being the ESP-12F they are a small form factor. Perfect for experimenting with WiFi connections on MCU boards where space is limited. There are libraries already available for the Arduino, but I'm going to be trying to get these to work with a Raspberry Pi Pico, potentially to have multiple Pico boards communicating with each other.There was a minor issue with one of my boards - one set of header pins was short, having only 7 pins instead of the required 8, but that's not a problem as I have plenty of header pins here to replace it.

For 3 of these boards, this is a great deal. They come well packaged and they each come with pins that can be soldered on if desired. The boards are basically the same size and form factor as a wemos D1 mini and they work in the same way. They're easy to program and I did not run into any issues programming them. These boards are perfect for your home projects and are super versatile. These are exceptionally great if you are looking at making your project WiFi enabled. Overall, these boards are perfect for any project that you may have in mind, and you basically have endless possibilities with these. Great value!

These clone ESP8266 dev boards are ideal little bits of kit for some rapid prototyping, specifically with WS2812b's in my case. Once flashed with WLED, they are reliable at driving the data signal for the LED's nice and reliable, with ultra convenient web and mobile interaction. Whilst they don't have the breadth and horse power of the EPS32's, they work perfectly and are reliable enough to almost 'set and forget' in a lighting project. Low power, very versatile.

These are great. I've done plenty of projects with the ESP8266, mostly NodeMCU v2. These are just as easy to use, well made, have plenty of IO pins for most purposes and they're quite a bit smaller making them easier to fit into a small project box.Plenty of scope of WiFi controlled projects here - they're fab.

Refused to program/flash. Returned for a refund. Worth a punt as they're so cheap. You might be lucky!
