Can this be used as the cleaning solution in an ultrasonic cleaner?

The Spin Clean works on a much different principle than an ultrasonic cleaner. It would be best if you use the cleaning solution recommended by the manufacture of your ultrasonic cleaner. Clean records sound great. Enjoy.

Has anybody tried combining a Spin Clean with a vacuum dry?

I have not done so but I would bet it would work great. I wipe/clean my vinyl with one cleaner first if really dirty then I use my spin clean and my albums turn out like new most of the time. I'll bet if wiped/vacuumed, then cleaned with spin clean, dryed, then vacuumed again they would turn out almost perfect removing most particles. More work but seems to me to be worth it when vacuuming alone will not get all the greasy grime off. (Just speculation as I do not own a vacuume system.) Good luck!! Hope this helps.

what is the mixer with distilled water ? 1 cap full of cleaner plus----

One capful into the spin cleaner. Fill cleaner up to line. Insert record. Wash. The records i find are generally filthy so i use 2 capfuls

Does this solution contain alcohol? (rubbing?)

No, it does not. We have used it on records going back to 1919 and it worked fine and with no damage.

a pretty effective vinyl cleaner

This solution works well on cleaning my new or used LP's and 45 rpm vinyl when using with a spin clean type record bath.I am currently using a Vinyl Styl cleaning tool and it will clean well but not fix damaged or worn out records.Some require additional cleaning cycle with only minimal static remaining.An anti static brush is helpful but not a cure-all for static.Reasonably priced in a catagory of some pricey products.
