We live in a first floor apartment, with a big 3 panel patio sliding door. There are a LOT of kids in this apartment complex, and they are very nosy. They used to constantly look in our patio windows, watch our tv while it was playing, and ring the bell asking for whatever snack they could see on our counter. We decided to order x3 of these films, and they have made such a big difference for us! Definitely needs 2 people to apply them, but really not so hard, just be patient. Now no one can see into our apartment (unless it’s night time, in which we close the curtains; or if you press your face to the glass you can see in, but that’s it!) As an added bonus, now the birds can’t see our cats in the window and will come right up to the windows, lol! The cats are having a great time birdwatching. These films do give a slight tint, but you get used to it. It makes outside look a little gloomy, but it has made our living room cooler! Sun still comes in, but it’s not so intense. Once the films are in place and cured, they aren’t going anywhere! We have a suction cup cat canopy on the window, and it has no problem staying attached to the films. If you are considering buying these for problems like ours, get them!!!

Al principio estaba un poco dudoso de comprarlo, pero las condiciones climaticas me llevaron a hacerlo. En mi habitación toda la tarde da el sol y con la ola de calor que tuvimos literalmente era un horno todas las tardes.Compré el producto y fue la mejor desición que pude tomar. Si bien entra la luz la temperatura en mi habitación disminuyó bastante, y la visión hacia fuera no se afectó en nada.La instalación es súper rápida, recomiendo medir bien los espacios en donde deseas colocar la mica (en las instrucciones decía sobre dejar algunos centímetros de más para una correcta instalació, la verdad es que yo dejé muy poco espacio de mas para no "desperdiciar" producto y no tuve problemas) cómo leí en los comentarios la instalación se vuelve más fácil si se realiza entre dos personas y previamente limpian los vidrios de las ventanas donde desdan colocarlo.Un tip que me funcionó bastante bien fue mojar bastante bien la mica y el vidrio, colocar la mica y desde el centro del espacio (imágen que es un cuadrado) con una tarjeta (banco, ine, alguna vieja que ya no utilicen) ir retirando el exceso de agua en todas las direcciones de esta manera se generan menos bolitas de aire; literalmente es como si estuviera "polarizando" un vidrio.

Straight forward to fit and lots of tutorials online, I'd advise following these as instructions included aren't that good. Only downside I found it impossible to remove all tiny air bubble but hopefully over time they will go. Once fitted the privacy is excellent.

It is ideal for our conservatory windows, it is a little bit awkward to put on but practice makes perfect and it dose the job

This silver film provided just the right amount of coverage that I needed for privacy while still being able to see clearly outside. The only problem is that I couldn’t remove the bubbles or creases that formed, no matter how hard I tried; even after using a straight edge ruler, level, and towel to smooth them out. Also, one roll only provided enough coverage for one half of the window pictured here.
