The Cold One Ice Wrap provides safe, comfortable, effective icing to the Sole and Lateral Side of the foot to stop the pain and remove the inflammation associated with Plantar Fasciitis . The ice wrap provides the 15 minutes of icing recommended safe by orthopedic MDs. Position the frozen wrap loosely around your foot, then control the compression by tightening the Velcro closures to the form and shape of your foot. The wrap ices the entire Plantar Fascia on the sole of your foot. The neoprene and Velcro straps allow you to adjust compression on the heel end of the Plantar Fascia, which is the most common area of pain, and drives deep cold relief into the painful areas. Plantar Fasciitis is particularly painful upon awakening in the morning. Those first few steps remind you of the problem. Be sure to place the wrap in your home freezer at night before you go to bed so it is ready to use in the morning. The Cold Gels are sewn into the wrap between the outer neoprene layer and the inner rubberized liner layer. The wrap will freeze in about 1 hour.

Expected more for the price
I have intermittently recurring tendinitis and was looking for a more effective method of icing the awkward elbow area. Other user reviews led me to splurge on the Cold One Elbow Ice Wrap, but it's not quite all I'd hoped for. First the positives: it is well made, easy to put on, and does a good job of applying cold therapy to a difficult spot.As for negatives, unlike other gel cold packs I've used this one hardens like ice. The segmented design still allows the wrap to bend around and with your elbow, but the hardened gel inside is less than comfortable when the joint flexes inside it.The velcro closures allow you to snug the wrap to your arm so the ice makes good contact. But bending the arm (such as at a computer keyboard) causes the upper part of the wrap to dig into the bicep enough to inhibit circulation. I'd hoped the material would be stretchier to enable more comfortable movement. The Cold One Elbow Wrap makes icing the elbow easy, but in terms of utility and cost I think I'd be better off applying a soft gel pack with an elastic bandage or compression sleeve.

You can walk on these frozen gel packs!
This is saying a lot now...This is the best product I have ever found for icing the bottoms of your feet. If you have severe pain in the bottoms of your feet, the gel in this wrap lasts just long enough so you don't freeze your skin. Plus you can walk on these without damaging the gel packs. This is the first product I can say that about because it is that resilient. Its expensive, but they do last awhile.

Definitely worth the price
I wasn't sure whether or not it would be worth the relatively high cost for this particular ice wrap, but it turned out to be worth every penny. The ice goes exactly where you need it with no lumps or poking, and you can make it as tight or as loose as you want. I don't have to take any time out of my day to use it because I can walk around and use my arm normally while it's on. The velcro is strong but so is the material it sticks to, so it's not wearing down. I'm actually icing my elbow a few times a day now because this wrap is so easy to use, and my tendinitis is finally improving. If you have tennis elbow, you need this wrap.

Very helpful
This fits perfectly around heel or instep. Stays cold longer than you can stand it! Folds easily to travel. Excellent product.

Excellent ice wrap
This wrap is really well designed. I'm using it on my elbow and the straps allow me to fit it snugly. It keeps the ice and compression right where I need it. The cold gel doesn't squeeze away from my elbow nor does the wrap slip down my arm or gap open. The cold tends to fade after about 15 minutes, but I'm not supposed to keep the cold on the area for longer than that anyway. This thing has no negatives.

Great product.
I was surprised at how functional this is. I have to wrap my foot nightly to treat plantar fasciitis, and the velcro straps allow for tight binding, in any custom arrangement that I need. The velcro really cinches well. I also like the fact that it buffers my foot enough so the cold doesn't hurt after 10 min, as it would if I used just ice in a baggie.

Satisfied with this wrap but not for very thin arms
I researched quite a few similar products before deciding to buy this wrap. Previously, I had been applying single ice packs to my elbow after playing tennis, but the cold in those packs didn't last that long and the coverage area wasn't as great. Plus, I had to use one hand/arm to hold the ice pack on the affected arm. So I knew I wanted some type of wrap that would stay on for as long as I wanted. And also, I didn't want to fuss with replaceable ice inserts or anything like that. This wrap fits my requirements. It is a little large, both in terms of width (around the arm) and length (above and below elbow), but it is still very good and provides long lasting comfort. My arms are fairly thin, so I have to pull the velcro all the way around to get the wrap to stay on my arm -- this probably wouldn't work for people with very thin arms, the wrap would be too lose/fall off.

Works well
I've only been using this for a few weeks, but it seems to be working well. The wrap fits comfortably around my foot without cutting into the skin. Only complaint is that there isn't enough padding between the ice and the bottom of my foot so it gets too cold after a few min of use. I found a work around that by folding a washcloth in half and putting that under my foot before I put the wrap on but would be easier if the product had a little more padding to wear for a full 20 min without having to rig something.
