Vinyl Record Storage Crate, Wooden LP Album Shelf Vinyl Storage Cube Organizer Box

I had about 60 records or so, just standing up on a niche above my stereo and decided to find somehting to put them in to prevent any mishaps. After looking at a number of options, I ordered two of the X-cosrack Vinyl Record Storage Crates. They arrived in a couple of days so I set about putting them together.I put the two together in about a 1/2 an hour, they are nicely made and went together quite well and they look great. I really like the finish on the wood and the black powder coated expanded metal sides. I added felt pads under each corner to avoid scratching the paint of the space they set into. Now my records are secure and I don't have to worry about them sliding off onto my turntable.One piece of advice I have in regard to putting them together is, the sides are actually three pieces; remove them from the bags they are in and keep them together. Screw a corner angle to the front piece and add one side, then add the other side. Then you can slide the bottom into place and add the back. Don't tighten the screws all the way until you've fitted everything up and squared the crate; make sure it will set flat by putting it on a flat surface. Then tighten the screws completely. There seems to be a few screws that don't "lock" into the inserts, they'll just keep turning, but they are tight enough that it doesn't matter.All in all, these are pretty nice for the price.

I bought two of these and although they were a bit expensive they look nice and hold a lot of records. I will probably buy another next year.

I’m not sure why so many reviews are saying this was hard to put together. Each piece is labeled and the instructions are really easy to understand based on the pictures. It’s a rly cool looking box, fits multiple sets of skateboard wheels, knee pads, gloves and a helmet. I’m a dummy n I built it in one Daria episode. U got this.
