Big Fast trolling motor.
Using this motor to fish with, to haul logs out of the lake, for pleasure and to chase people that are in the lake for the wrong reasons. Works great no problems. Multiple speeds and now I am the fastest boat on the lake. Has a 24-volt system but I can fish for hours without charging the battery.

Great motor, good quality and speed for an electric only bass boat
The design and functionality works great. Shipping was less than a week. No problems so far. Faster than my old 36 volt motor. I bought the 24 v 110 lb thrust.

Good Value for the Money!
The Protruar 24V 110lb. thrust trolling motor represents good value for the money. It is the new version of the Protruar 2.0 24V motor with a less beefy, round shaft without streamlining. Minimal assembly is required. The motor came with two propeller nut tools, an extra propeller nut, extra plastic shaft bushings, an extra anode and an extra shaft pin. I connected the motor to a 24V LFP battery and ran it in a water-filled 30 gal. barrel to test functionality. The motor worked fine. The one minor issue with the motor is the throttle safety pin. If pulled out of the throttle, the motor continues running if the operator manually holds the throttle in either the "forward" or "reverse" position. Otherwise, the throttle is "spring loaded" and springs to the "neutral" or off position when the throttle is released. My plan is to find an extension for the three-pin throttle control cable to enable remote control of the motor from a helm position away from the stern of the boat.About the propeller...instructions tell you NOT to tighten down the propeller nut to avoid damaging the motor if the prop strikes an object. My propeller CAME OFF UNDER WAY because I followed the Haswing instructions! Fortunately, I had another motor (Haswing) and was able to limp home against a 3-4 knot tidal current.

Better than expected!
I put it on a 12 foot jon boat similar to the ones Amazon sells. We have a gps. It pushed my boat 5 miles an hour when full throttle. We trolled for an hour and full throttled back to the dock. The 48v 40aH battery was still over 80% (>80 and <100.) You will need a step down transformer if you use a 48v battery. Amazon has it for about $150.
