The study guide is very detailed and helped me prioritize the content and review what I’m not familiar with. It would be great if this study guide can include the short answer part.

This is a good practice for the NYSYCE. There are practice and review questions all the way through covering al the categories for the test. The answers are right on the same page so your don't have to go searching. At the back of the book there are practice questions by categories each with 15 to 20 questions. The answers for each section are at the end of each section. This allows you to practice each section independently before checking your work.Take your ie to know the material and you should do well.

Great Book to use for the GACE. I have used a study guide with every test I have taken and passed.

I like how the book is divided into two parts, review of material and practice questions. The book provide a good review of linguistics.

This book will prepare you for the New York State certification exam in ESOL. It tells you what to expect by way of content, number of questions and which areas will weigh the most in order to pass. Lots of useful tips with an emphasis on cultural sensitivity—-an important component in being an effective teacher regardless of subject area.

Excellent review guide. Example are geared towards helpful hints and they are easy to understand and student is able to digest key points to perform well on this assessment.
