Fusion Climb Z-Max

This trolley is well made, comfortable to hold, and is easy to attach/detach. However, it is much slower than my Petzl tandem trolley so the rider gets stuck 50' short on our 300' line. I replaced the 6200RS sealed bearings with 6200ZZ shielded bearings and this fixed the problem. The 6200RS bearings added a lot of friction that was resolved with the 6200ZZ bearings. Note: The bearings are press fit in the sheave/pulley and held in place with a retaining ring. Once disassembled, the bearing can be tapped out of the pulley with a hammer and a rod (I used a 3/8" bolt), and the retaining ring will need special pliers to remove/re-install. Hope this helps!

I was really excited to get the pulley. Built a 150 feet zip line with 3/8 steel cable. Unfortunately was a short lived excitement. They changed the pictures now, but when I was ordering it ,it was a different wheels and springs on the sides of the bolts. It would probably seem like no such deal, but those black coated wheels where shedding straight into mine and my kids eyes to the point that I had to put protective goggles until all the coating came off. To top that, the way this pulley is built,every time the kids would get off ,the cable gets caught between the wheel and the side. If that wasn't enough I had to disassemble the pulley and on one of the wheels where missing washers that separates it from the side.

Perfect! Great trolley! I bought to replace a "generic" trolley that wobbled and made noise as it traveled down our zipline. This Fusion Climb Z-Max I liked as soon as I got it out of the package! It was easy to attach to our existing zipline - didn't have to thread the zipline cord through it because this trolley opens from the bottom to attach securely to the zipline. Also, it's got to be the smoothest trolley! It just g-l-i-d-e-s on the zipline as if it floating on air.... and with practically no sound! I can't say enough wonderful things about this trolley! It's great! It's very affordable! Very strong! Well made! Very trustworthy (I trust with my grandchildren)! Love the red color! Love it! Thank you for making a great product!

Perfect! Sturdy! Fast. Easy for the kids to use. It is removable. So this makes having to drag it back not a problem if zipline is high, like ours. The kids just remove it at the end of the run. It weighs a few lbs you can check the weight. But my kids take it up a tree house where they take off. We leave it in the house in-between uses, so it won't rust or get stolen. It's a nice red color. It should last for years.

My child had an incident where he bounced on the cable, the handles opened enough to wedge the cable between the wheel and the side plate. He came to an abrupt halt and lost his grip on the handles. I recommend tightening the pulley nuts to limit the spread of the handles to just allow your diameter cable to pass through. Cover the exposed threads with RTV /silicone. Good quality! I used this on 1/2 inch cable and it works well.

I bought four different trolleys to test out on a 400 foot zipline across my lake, this was the fastest one! Using the other three trolleys, the rider would typically stop about 5-10 feet too early, requiring that someone toss them a rope to pull them in. With this trolley all riders (65 lbs to 220 lbs) made it all the way across the lake, allowing them to stand on platform and take the trolley off themselves (8 yrs old to 40 yrs old). Not sure why this one is faster than the others, but I'm now buying a second one.

I built a back yard zipline and this has worked great on a cable and a rope for kids as small as 20 lbs up to adults 230 lbs. I zip tied the two holes at mid height so it feels more solid. Otherwise it feels like it wants to fall apart when it's not loaded with a person. It has held up great to lots of use over the past summer. Many days it was in use constantly for hours by big groups of kids. The great part about this is that if you ever need to take it down for any reason (liability when you aren't around) you can easily take it off the cable.

Very nice heavy weight steel construction. I really like that there's no dismantling to take it on and off the cable, simply pull handles out sideways and lift off. The grips seem like they will last with good foam and rubber treads. My 7 year old daughter had a blast all weekend when I first set it up. I added a homemade wooden seat platform with heavy weight rope and a carabineer clip.

Appears to be good quality, has good glide on 1/4" wire rope cable.
