Watch the different PELLET sizes when ordering.
Too big. Hard to smash with a hammer to break them up. Pay close attention to the information on the block you select when ordering. The product is GREAT!!! If you have small mouth fish,get the smaller pellets , small/med. The med /lg ones are almost all large and will not crush. Good size bag ,donated to the fish in the lake.

First, I read reviews for anything I buy. Very rare to ever find a product without negative reviews. I read the negative reviews on Fluval Bug Bites. I get if people weren't happy with shipping or their product arrived damaged. That's on the delivery system. But reviewers who want to claim this food killed their fish? Come on, really? Fish die for several reasons, processed food is the least likely and poor fish keeping being the most probable. Anyway, on to the positive review. My cichlids, clown loaches and Yo-Yo loaches absolutely love Fluval Bug Bites. For ever feeding I mix 5-6 kinds of foods and as most fish people know, the fish know when its feeding time. All the loaches head right to where they know the bug bites will drop to and they wait to begin feasting on them. The smaller cichlids join in. In just 2 months of using Bug Bites, my 5 clown loaches have doubled in size and are vibrant and happy. Same with the Yo-Yo's, growing like weeds! Finally, read the ingredients of the fish food you are considering buying. If the first few ingredients contain the words (wheat, grain, rice, fish meal), is that what you really want to be feeding your fish? Is that what they eat in the wild? Now look at the ingredients of Bug Bites. THAT is what your fish should be eating.

BEST FOOD FOR YOUR BUCK
This has been my go-to food for my Oscar, Catfish, Pleco, and Pike. It's been over 2 years feeding them this. It's good food. The only complaint is that most of the time the pellets don't sink and just stay on the surface. but overall, my fish eat it on the surface too. But I would recommend this brand all the time

Gutes Futter mit langsam sinkenden Pellets
Ich nutze das Futter für meine Aquarienbewohner und bin bisher zufrieden. Die Pellets haben eine angenehme Größe und sinken langsam ab, wodurch die Fische genug Zeit haben, das Futter aufzunehmen. Positiv finde ich außerdem, dass das Wasser bei normaler Fütterung nicht sofort stark belastet wird. Das Futter zerfällt nicht direkt und wirkt insgesamt recht hochwertig verarbeitet. Die Zusammensetzung mit Insektenlarven wirkt sinnvoll und wird von den Fischen gut angenommen. Gerade für Cichliden scheint das Futter gut geeignet zu sein. Der Beutel ist kompakt, lässt sich gut lagern und die Menge reicht relativ lange. Insgesamt macht das Produkt einen guten Eindruck und ich würde es wieder kaufen.
