Humility

This book is an absolute gem. My boyfriend recommended it since I am new to reading the Bible (even though I was born and raised in an Orthodox Christian household).I love the simplicity with which deep wisdom is shared. I find the simplest truths to be the wisest. Every Christian should read this book. It is ego shattering and causes you to see how far we and the body of Christ have neglected the true ways of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

If you think you are humble enough, you should probably read this book to discover the ways you are wanting in this area, and why you should always be striving to be humble before God and your fellow peoples. I could almost give it 4 stars, because it is a bit hard to read in places, probably because of the time frame in which it was written. Hang in there, slow down when you have to, because this book is worth the read.

I had read this years ago but lost my copy so I ordered this one. I found the small print difficult to read but it’s an excellent book.

I read a review of this book by someone who was quite incensed about the number of typographical errors. Let me say this: If that person had ignored the errors and focused on the content, he or she would be better off.

Good book, just written in an old English style. But to be expected from a non-contemporary writer.
