Tongue cleaners are easy and effective ways to up your oral hygeine, cut down on bad breath, and fight any nascent signs of candida yeast growth on your tongue (the yellowy, cottage cheese textured formation that you often see toward the very back of your tongue but can sometimes advance toward the front in the right circumstances).This Dr. Tung's tongue cleaner is inexpensive and effective. The stainless steel band is not sharp in any way and does not cause my tongue to bleed or become irritated, but is just thin enough to facilitate a gentle scraping action that lets you clean your tongue.For what it does, and with its stainless steel construction, it seems like this should be functional basically forever or until I lose it. The rubber grip works well even when wet, you can rinse off the whole thing right under the faucet, and the shape and springiness are just right to let you sqeeze it into your mouth.WARNING WARNING WARNINGSurprisingly, even a nominally clean tongue has a layer of gunk that can be scraped off with a tongue cleaner. The gunk accumulates in the U-shaped end as you pull it across your tongue. You then rinse it off under the faucet. This gunk is kind of nasty. Once you see that it is always there and have this easy and effective tool to remove it, it may become something of an addiction. Nowadays, even if I've brushed and flossed, my mouth doesn't feel completely clean until I've given the tongue cleaner a go as well. Buyer beware.

I use it to clean my tongue and this thing just works. Using toothbrush head or other tongue cleaners just don’t work. I been using it for a few years and can’t recommend it more. When you first start using it, it may be kind of strange since it seems pretty abrasive to the tongue. Once you use it a week or so you will get use to it. You would be surprise what this tongue cleaner can scrap, looks pretty nasty the first few times you use it. Just make sure to not scrap too hard in the beginning. I would scrap a bit too hard when I first started using it and would have small cuts. Right now I got use to it so it is no longer an issue.

I purchased the Dr. Tung's Tongue cleaning duo for myself and my daughter. At the age of 7, my daughter has great teeth but very stinky breath so I hoped this might help. I myself and up to trying anything to practice good oral hygiene!We received 2 colors - blue and teal. I was happy we are able to tell our tongue cleaners apart. At first glance I was happy with the size of these tongue cleaners. Bot too wide and perfect for smaller mouths! I like the fact that these are constructed of stainless steel. The handles on these tools are very nice and easy to grip. Since we have never used a tongue cleaner before, we were both fascinated by the "yuk" we were able to scrape off our tongues. The edge of the blade is flat and not sharp. Neither myself or my daughter experienced any discomfort while using these. When we were done out tongues were very noticeably pinker as much of that yucky white coating was gone! I am very pleased with my purchase. These Dr. Tung's tongue cleaners are now a part of our regular oral hygiene regime. Thank you for such a great product!

Searched specifically for a stainless steel tongue cleaner after my plastic one cracked. Sure glad i found Dr.Tung's, plus it came with a bonus carrying case. Score! I also like the soft, easy to grip handles that come in cute colors (we got aqua and lavender).The traditional straight tongue cleaner used to cause a bit of gagging and didn't clean that efficiently or thoroughly. Dr. Tung's is so easy to use and has a slimmer profile that it's actually helped reduce the gagging. The stainless steel edge leaves your tongue spotless with just a few passes. I'm amazed and disgusted every time I use it.

Never knew scraping your tongue was a thing until my coworker were all talking about it and here I was like a loser pretending I knew exactly what the heck they were talking about. As I'm starting to get older I noticed my breath a little funky and always had a white residue especially after drinking coffee no matter how much I scrubbed with my tooth brush five minutes later the same cotton mouth funky smell taste would come back. Not anymore! I use this every morning now my tongue is pink and I feel more confident then ever.

I've never tried another tongue scraper, just tried using my toothbrush, and this is completely different. It works much better and I can tell a difference in how smooth and pink my tongue is. I mean, it's still a tongue, so it's not exactly a thing of beauty, but this smoothed out some of the ridges and stuff. Anyway, it's not the most attractive product, but it works well and does what I think a tongue scraper should. Also my wife is using hers even though she had no intention of using a tongue scraper. She seems to like it.

Love it BUT be careful. I went a little tongue-scraping-crazy when I first used this because I was so excited to be properly cleaning my tongue, lol. I couldn't believe how well it was working and I used it too much. Sometimes three times a day. I ended up making my tongue bleed and had to take a break from using it for a month. That was ENTIRELY my fault. Not the product. If anything, I liked it too much. Now I make sure to use it ONCE a day, every morning and it not only makes my mouth feel more fresh and clean but my tongue looks better. I can't be without this in my dental hygiene routine and recommend to everyone! Just don't go scrape crazy like I did ;)

This thing is amazing. I'm in my first trimester of pregnancy and very sick all day. It's hard for me to brush the back of my tongue without gagging or puking and it was feeling pretty gross. After reading the reviews I figured I would give this a try to get farther back on my tongue and it works so well! I can get all the way to the back without gagging AT ALL. SO happy to have found this!

Excellent product, well made and easy to use. It works well on cleaning the tongue, you can actually feel your tongue cleaner and there is no gagging going on. Highly recommended! Shipping was fast too!

This cleans up the gunk on your tongue way better than those plastic ones. Cannot go a day without using it or I feel dirty.
