They do sweat when they start to melt. I put them in a small sandwich bag to ship my candles.

Yes, we do for the kids lunch boxes.

Q: How do you store unused ice packs?

Unused ice packs are basically sheets of paper so I just left them in the ziplock bag they shipped in. Once used and full of water, I’m not sure how you’d drain or store besides leaving in the freezer. I returned mine after a couple uses of 2 of the packs. They stick together in the freezer even after drying. Tried to separate and one ripped open.
