It works!
I was looking for a mold to make cone incense instead of by hand which is tedious. This does not work as a mold for wet incense material.All you have to do is powder your material as fine as fine as fine as possible , then fill the cone as you tap the sides, place the plate on top and turn over. Tap tap tap and viola, a perfect incense cone ready to light.3 stars because I found the same thing on AliExpress for $6 so if you don't mind waiting a few weeks buy it there as I'm sure it's only $1 elsewhere but that said it is a nice machined piece of brass alloy.

Great incense companion
Vantine (an early 19th century company) used to make a cone for their powdered incense, but I haven't found anything like it in the U.S. other than antiques. This cone form is so much better than the antique I've been using, and is a lovely tool I use with my sandalwood powder.

Simple and easy to use
Great for making powder incense cones in 2 seconds. metal construction makes it easy to clean. The base also can be use to burn a japanese incense stick, since it has the little hole in the center.
