Works great

It's what was listed but my pipe was still to big so it wasnt what I was looking for. To small for normal pipes.

I got sick of cleaning the cooling units. Then I got sick of cleaning those tiny flat screens after hitting the TM2. It's hot, burns my fingers, and hard to fish out of the ashtray.Enter these things. I use them twice, don't bother cleaning them and just put them in a bowl with alcohol. I would finish around 40 then clean them in one go. Shake with alcohol and rinse with water, and viola, I have more screens for use. It's easier to use because the lip exists. I also keeps it's shape so it's easy to fish out of the TM2. You can use a stencil brush to prolong the screen's life as well. All in all, I'm happy with the price and the convenience it brings me.

Tried same size from other sources , some were semi cone shaped . Have cleaned these with soda blaster with great success. Recently bathed them in a plastic drink bottle with salt and alcohol mix and shake it vigorously by connecting it to a sawzall . After a bunch of 5 minute sessions , they come out clean and shiny. Switched to these 1/2" size from 3/4" bowl with just a bottom screen , because of the screen material on the sides allow a easier complete burn. If these were available in a 5/8 or 3/4 size , I would definitely try them.

Useful and durable. I think one box could be a lifetime supply. Be sure to hold them in a very hot flame before use to burn off residue from manufacture. No need to smoke that!

As far as what the product is made for, they work great. However, they seem to get gummed up fairly quickly. The 15 screens lasted me about 2.5 months (1 screen every ~5 days). I tried cleaning them with isopropyl alcohol as recommended; didn't work. Had them soaking all night. I also tried a pipe cleaning solution without any results. The screens remain clogged up with resin. I even tried burning them like conventional screens and nothing. I like my pipe and I need these screens, so I guess I'll be buying more until I find a way to actually clean them.

These fit perfectly in my glass piece and are very good at catching any crumbs. The amount for the price is great, and I would say very worth it!
