OEM quality
These seem top-notch -- not inferior quality in any way. Like I got them from some expensive name-brand HVAC outfit.

Wonderful for sealing or protecting 1/4" flare connections.
I've got valves and such for servicing auto a/c. They need to seal well to pull a good vacuum. So a bit of damage to the seat of the connection and it has to be replaced. These protect them beautifully. Nice workmanship. The O-rings are sometime loose in there but used once seems to seat them permanently. I'd buy them again but I think I have a lifetime supply. They have a valve tool on the top which I wasn't expecting. No harm done but it's not show in the picture.

Good quality American made product. Helps stop slow freon loss.
What a relief it is to get something that is not a Chinese fraud. These are real brass, not fake brass colored aluminum. The Neoprene gasket makes a good seal. After you get your A/C unit serviced, go around and replace all of the caps with these to prevent freon loss from leaky valves over time. Schraeder valves always have some very small amount of leakage.

Replacement for R404-A schrader valve covers
These are a perfect fit to replace the valve covers on my central air conditioning condensing unit's schrader valves. When I bought my house, there were no valve caps. My HVAC tech recommended I get some caps on there to guard against freon loss in a belt-and-suspenders approach. These worked perfectly. Unfortunately I only needed 2, so I have 23 left over. Guess I have valve covers for life now.
