Sizzle: Outlaw Romance (A Hotter Than Hell Novel) Paperback – June 14, 2016

This book was an amazing read. I don't know how she does it but Holly makes her characters in the book so human and they feel like real people who truly exist and whom you are rooting for all the way!!!! I like the honesty of her characters... We know who they really are in some respects but we like them anyway .... They have deep loyalty and love for each other..... They will sacrifice themselves for what they believe in, even if we may not believe in the same things it is still enthralling to read about them. All of her characters draw you to them in one way or another.This is a very romantic and sizzling hot book. Lots of sexy scenes but also lots of tenderness and kindness!!! I especially liked where Holly mentioned at the end of the book about some of her "real life" experiences as a policewoman and where some of the ideas for the story originated. Great insights and I enjoyed the back stories immensely!!!! I really enjoyed this book and the first one in the series and am looking forward with a vociferous reader's delight to all the other ones in the series!!!!!

Celina's brother is dead and Kiley's mother is in a drugged stupor, and wants to "get rid of the brat". The head of the gang wants $50,000 from Celina for the little girl. Knowing of nothing else to do to get the money, Celina becomes an escort. Alex is her first customer!This story is so raw, brutal, and real, you won't want to put it down till the end. It is fast paced, well-written, and the characters are unforgettable. The author, Holly S. Roberts, shows us a few sides of life that bring sadness, pain, vengeance, and death. When evil is so prevalent in someone, death is the only choice in that world.Celina brings a peace to Alex that he has never known; he saves Kiley from a life worse than death. Only love can save them all. Sometimes, though, that is not enough.

4 & 1/2 starsI think I enjoyed book 1 just a little bit more than this one. This flowed well, & I enjoyed it, but didn't find it quite as riveting as book 1. The main characters, Alex and Celina, were good characters, but there were a few moments I didn't like either of them very well. Still, it's a great read enjoyment wise & felt like it could be read as a stand-alone, though it's more enjoyable if read in order.

Holly has quickly become a one-click author for me! I got the rec for Heat from another group and it instantly became one of my favorite reads ever! Now I'm working my way through her previous works. I've been dying for Sizzles release and it DID NOT disappoint! Oh man, Alex Gomez is totally swoon worthy. I am beginning to develope an intense addiction to her Hispanic alpha men! The story flows really well and there aren't any lulls that make you want to set the book down. It's a little insta-love (which I could live solely off of those!) without being over the top. They meet, and then there just isn't anyone else for either. Celina is strong and funny. Her females always have put-up-or-shut-up moment that the actually stick to, which is refreshing and makes you admire them. I hate waffley females. Alex is EVERYTHING! I love that she managed to retain the same humor from him as in Heat but make his dark side and struggles seem believable as well. This is easily a 5-star reread for me! I was not provided a copy of this book for a review. I totally stalked Amazon and bought it cause I wanted to!

Sizzle is book two in this series and deals with Alex Gomez who we met in book one. He's the enforcer for Moon, the head of the largest crime syndicate in Arizona. Alex kills and doesn't allow himself to get to close to anyone knowing they wont be safe in his world.Celina has a secret. She needs money and she needs it fast. The only way to even have a slim chance of earning the fifty thousand she needs is to become an escort.Alex is Celina's first (and only) client. They share a hot night that neither one can forget. Celina confides that she needs the money but tells Alex it's too dangerous to involve him. Well, that just intrigues Alex and he decides he's going to get answers. How far will Alex go and will he be able to tell Celina goodbye when it's time?I liked Alex's character in book one and I liked him even more in this one. He struggles with what he has done in the past and the things he's seen. He's not really the monster he thinks he is, or the one he wants others to see. Celina sees that immediately. She sees the sadness in his eyes and she's the first person to make him feel comfort. Celina is also a great character. She selflessly did what she had to in order to get the money she needed. When help was offered she didn't allow pride to get in the way and accepted it knowing she couldn't do it on her own.I'm a little nervous reading Dax's story because I'm afraid it's gonna pull my heart strings. Kiley pulled them pretty hard in this one, but I think Dax's story will tug harder. But I'll read it and hope to see how Moon and Alex are doing.

Not as good as the first book but a worthwhile read. Starts well but needs more excitement. 2.5 stars or 3.5 romance stars

This was an unashamedly, impatient wait for this sexy oxymoron of a man's book.Alex Gomez!This cold but, damn, oh so hot beast of an enforcer was first introduced to us in Heat.And I was intrigued!As said in the description, he has blood on his hand. He does what needs to be done. And in reality we would most definitely stay far away from a man like him...but damn by the end of the book I was there with him, rooting for him all the way.Now let's not forget about Celine!Another, out of many thing that I loved about the book, was how the heroine was a strong woman. She did what she had to do because she would do anything to help her neice.Their journey throughout this book was a roller coaster of a ride that had me laughing and crying.And thought's scenes that indubitably gave this book its name, well they were sizzling!!!I was sizzling!!!This is the kind of book that grips you and holds you because this is the kind of author that knows how to keep her reader intrigued, how to keep the pace of a story so that the reader is on the edge of their seats.I was at the edge of my seat!!!This book is not for the faint hearted, because it sure as hell got my heart beating.Thank you Holly for another amazing read!5'

I've been eagerly awaiting Alex Gomez story as I fell in love with him when I read Heat the first book in this series. He's a strong, tough and damn right scary man with a cold heart until he meets Celine. She changes his life in ways he couldn't imagine. Celine is a girl who's in trouble through no fault of her own and will do anything to get what she needs. When the two meet its obvious they are made for each other and they help each other in ways neither of them knew they could. This story is hot and heart wrenching all in one and you will feel every emotion going and then some. Holly has done a fantastic job with this book and I can't wait for the next installment.

We 1st met Gomez in book 1 of the hotter than hell series and I immediately fell in love! Sizzle has everything a gorgeous bad ass sexy hero and the lovely Celine who is a good match for Gomez, she brings him calm when he's feeling stormy. It has the housekeeper I would kill for! Gabrielle is tough with a secret heart of gold for those she loves. This book is everything I wanted for Gomez and I can see me reading it quite a few more times. If you haven't read this yet and you like your men completely badass with a strong love for his woman then don't hesitate to buy it I can promise you won't regret it
