Beautiful product
I bought this as a memorial for one of our pets who had passed ♥️ It looks beautiful, sitting on the shelf with her picture in it

Ideal for displaying craft projects
It was eash to mount the house on the base and curl a couple of the LED's together to light the house windows. LED color is more white than the photo shows, more like stars above the house. If you want to light your craft, this is a perfect way to do it, totally hassle free. The switch in the base seems sturdy enough, and the LED cord seems durable enough to withstand handling. Wonderful!

Beautiful
It was well packed and delivered in good condition. It looks so cute once it has the lights inside and the glass material is great.

Nice to keep something special dust free! But that darn switch!
I like the dark wood, smooth non-scratching bottom and the added rice lights reflecting in the glass. Makes a nice accent at night! That being said, for the $18 price, I've really been mulling over how to rate this one.1st off - the switch to turn on the light is on the smooth bottom which means picking it up to turn it off and on which also increases the risk of the loose-fitting glass falling and breaking.Did I mention the smooth bottom? Just try finding the switch on that smooth bottom! LOL, what a pain!Oh, then there was the issue of the little figurine sliding and bumping the glass a couple times while I was focused on finding said switch. I used a few tiny pieces of double stick tape to hold it in place. Mental note - the switch is at the back side of the figure. Ok - good, it's all in place and turned on. Still with me?Hmm, all that fenagling left the glass with a number of fingerprints to be cleaned off before I could take the picture! It would be much, much better if said switch was on side so it could be accessed without picking it up. The glass sitting unsecured - ????? a slightly deeper channel for it to fit in a little snugger? I don't know.Just talked myself into the 3-star rating. If it weren't for the switch on that smooth bottom ... I'd leave it at as 4 stars ... just sayin' ...In summation, the hot glue gun is looking really good right now. I just won't be changing anything seasonally inside the glass! Thank you for reading this long winded review!

Not museum quality but acceptable considering the price
There are a few defects (light scratches) in the glass dome, which stand out even more if you turn on the lighted base. By the way, the included batteries were dead. Hint - If you don't plan on using the lights in the base, remove the batteries. Leaking batteries could damage a tabletop.Since the dome is glass, no two will be the same size. My internal dimensions: center height 4.46", dia 3.38" (113.4mm x 85.8mm).
