MaxRed 9755542 Meat Probe for KitchenAid, Kenmore, Maytag, Admiral, Amana, Estate, Inglis, Roper, Magic Chef Range Stove Oven

By far the lowest price I've seen anywhere for this probe. GE sells them for well over $100. So low I was skeptical of its quality. That said, it worked flawlessly, at least until my wife accidentally cut it with her electric carving knife while carving a roast. So, I'm back to buy another one and I fully expect it to work as well as the first. Just be advised it does not handle electric carving knives particularly well...

A power surge turned on our Probe setting and we had to way to turn it off. Multiple resets(turning breaker off) did not resolve the issue. I could not locate my Thermador probe and did not want to pay $80 for a replacement. The MaxRed probe works perfectly with my Thermador wall oven.FYI - I scoured the internet for a potential solution without much success. If anyone else wants to reset the probe on a Thermador oven, follow these steps below. It worked for me and help me avoid a service call!1. Shut off breaker for oven2. Plug probe into oven for 1 minute.3. Remove Probe4. Wait 2 minutes and turn breaker for oven back on5. Probe icon will automatically turn off!

I purchased just in time for Christmas cooking. My KitchenAid oven is a 2005 model and I was worried buying a probe from the web would not work for a 13 year old oven. I plugged in the new probe and the oven instantly communicated it recognized the probe. Cooked a turkey perfectly. Didn't have to monitor the temperature of the bird. This product is durable and made of good quality. I always read reviews before buying and this probe is a winner!

I got this for less than $15. Some of the replacements were over $100. Exactly same part and works great with my GE Profile. Thank you!

Hoped that this would work as it is the same size as the Bosch thermometer that died with a broken connection where it plugs into the stove. IT DOES!! Works like a charm, have used it three times: PERFECT. Recommend to anyone who needs the Bosch replacement at 1/3 the price. PLUS: the company contacted me to see if there were any problems, and there are none. Great service, shipped promptly, reasonably priced...what's not to love?

WOLF Oven specific: This worked great for our Thanksgiving Turkey once I figured out the "trick" to get it working. Instead of pushing the plug all of the way in, I pulled it back "one click" and it started reading temp immediately. Basically just push the speaker jack looking plug all the way in, then pull it back 1/8th inch and it will start working. Before that I was getting a PROBE? alert.

Purchased an older KitcheAid Superba wall oven (2204?) from Habitat a while back. The oven worked fine, but did not have a probe with it. Purchased this to help ensure Turkey Day turned out great and it did. Plugged it in, the oven recognized it fine! Would buy again if I need another one. Thanks for a great deal!

After we had our Bosch oven repaired and needed a new thermometer, the tech recommended that we could get the same quality item on Amazon. This worked as well as original and saved $$! Thanks.Note-Black color is the one that fit our Bosch oven according to website so went with that instead of original brown color.

The plug connection of this probe to our LG LSE3092ST oven was terrible. Had to wiggle it to the perfect spot for it to work and then no matter how gently we closed the oven door, it stopped working. It was loose fitting and very frustrating
