This solder does work well, but the color is drastically different from the copper wire that I'm using, which means for lots of clean up time to make it look semi-decent.

sucks to work with and is not copper color after it is used. would not buy again!

Not recommended for large gauge copper wire projects.
While this product may have great uses with some kinds of crafting, probably small jewelry, it is not sufficient for working with copper wire in the eight and ten gauges. I work with wire figurines and need an appreciable amount of flow from the solder. This solder does melt well under a micro-torch, however the lack of flux (was supposed to not need flux) is telling in that the melted copper beaded up on the preheated copper. Also, the thin gauge of the product means a lot of melting is required for the larger jobs.
