Kool Kat Elastic Cat Safety Collar with Bell, Blue, 10"

The only collar I buy for my kitties! They don’t like wearing anything around their necks but this one is light enough that they don’t mind and it doesn’t come off easy. It still has the stretch to it in case they need to breakaway. It does begin to fray a little faster than most but that’s expected when they itch themselves with claws. Cute colors too!!

My favorite cat has a favorite color, pink. Everything I buy for her has to be pink. Even when my veterinarian gives her an IV, he wraps her arm in pink bandages. So of course her collars are always pink!Her old one was looking kind of drab, so I bought this one. I generally go for a softer, more pastel look, but decided on hot pink this time. It's great! My baby and I are both very happy with it.One thing to note is that it doesn't have pre-punched holes for the buckle to slip into; you just push the tip through anywhere in the collar, which means you can size it more precisely than collars with pre-made holes.Although this collar doesn't have a safety breakaway feature, it doesn't need it. It stretches, so if your cat should get caught on something, they should be able to easily get out of the collar.Its bell is a nice touch, and the color is very cheerful; it feels high quality. We love it!

My cat was able to tear through the material pretty quickly, but for the value of the collar it is a minor issue. I needed an easy breakaway for my cat but also a buckle collar, so this is a good alternative to the usual breakaway collar with the plastic buckle.

Almost every cat collar out there now is a breakaway collar, I get the importance of that (outdoor cats mostly) but after losing one after the other after the other off of my cat, along with his tags, I opted to go with this collar because it doesn't have holes you just push it through to any adjustment that you want # It's a little bit elasticy which tells me that if my cat should for some odd reason get his collar caught on something or have another cat's claws hanging on to it in a fight that it's not going to choke him because it gives just enough to where I know he could still breathe. So after trying the collars with the holes that your cat cannot get out of if they needed to (keep in mind these things are best to consider for outdoor cats of course) or the Breakaway collars that break away way too easy - either that or they don't break away at all which defeats the purpose, I went with this one you can adjust it to any size and it has enough give to not choke him in a bad situation.Or when they get fluffier in the winter because they have put on their winter coat- and you forget to let the collar out a notch to accommodate the fact that his neck is bigger at that time of year, it has some give. I like it and I went through several before finding one I felt was not going to: 1) Not come off and get lost with all of his rabies and name tags on it and then get picked up by animal control or 2) not have any give to it if he got it caught on something or in a catfight. The only downside is as he was getting used to it and scratched it it picked the threads on the outside of it and it got a little fuzzy but big deal. Still better than a breakaway that falls off or one with holes that has no give at all.

Not sure about durability, appear to be well made. Bell makes almost no noise at all, if you hold it up to your ear and shake it you can hear it very faintly. Does not fulfill its purpose at all

We have a one year old flamepoint Siamese and an older longhair big boy cat. During the day, Claude Siamese wears a collar and bell to let us know his whereabouts. This collar and bell is perfect. It stays on, unlike the last one with a plastic breakaway clasp. And the bell is small! Another collar had a preposterous bell. Very big and loud.

Tried this with my six month old kitten. We attached an AirTag to it in case she got out, and she kept trying to chew it off. It was stretchy enough her jaw would get stuck and we'd have to extract a panicking kitten.It is made of a wove material, but doesn't have any prebuilt holes for the buckle. Each time we had to rescue her and adjust the collar, I made a new punch in the length. It wore out quite quick.If your cat is prone to play with woven items or strings, I wouldn't recommend this collar. If they would leave it alone, it's a steal of a price.

This collar is far superior to those where you have the sliding adjustment with a clasp lock, that my cat manages to totally defeat on regular recurring basis and end up with those inferior collars around one of her front paws, or both, meaning it ends up around her chest. The only negative? I have no problem with the black color, but, and this might be my error, I cannot find this collar in any other colors. I have been nice to have had additional options. Having said that, I'm perfectly content with this black color and the collar's functionality. No more collars wrapped around body parts!!! Success!!!!

This is definitely the only type of collar your cat should be wearing to ensure it never gets caught up in something & strangles. If your cat gets fetched up on something , this collar will stretch to release it. An elastized collar is the only collar recommended by veterinarians for the safety of your cat . The so called "break a way" collars don't easily break apart I've found. So I highly recommend this collar for your beloved pet.

La textura es muy linda y flexible, de modo que te permite adecuar el tamaño ideal para el cuello de tu gatito. El collar mas chico de 8" solo lo recomiendo para gatos muy bebés, de 2-3 meses, mas grande ya le va a quedar apretado.

Comme ce collier est élastique, si mon chat reste pris quelque part, il sortira de sa tête sans l'étouffer. Très sécuritaire.

Nice collar but made of stretchy material, so worried the cat may get out of the collar easily when pulled & stretched.
