Colavita Pasta - Gemelli (Braids), 1 Pound - Pack of 20

This is a fantastic product that offers great value for money. I highly recommend Colavita pasta for anyone who appreciates high-quality, authentic pasta.

I’ve been looking for Gemelli pasta for awhile and it’s not available at any of my local grocery stores unless I want to use those small packets of parcooked pasta (surprise: I do not, they’re mushy). Plastic packet packaging.Yes, a lot is a lot, so I’m glad that the best before date is just over a year out (May 24 2025 for product received in 2024).

Gemelli is hard to find in stores here in AZ. Can't find it anywhere in fact. This is really good and at a great price. My order arrived in an Amazon box, inside it was another shipping box, and inside it was the Colavite box. Now that is some great shipping. Now the packaging problem started, Half the 20 individual bags had issues. Appears the heat sealer is too hot and 9 bags had a small melted slit where the bottom and the back of the bag seams meet, 1 bag had a slit so large, the pasta spilled out as I removed the bag from the box. A minor issue that required me to repack half the bags into zip-lock bags.

Pasta ia a strange bird. Depending upon the brand, you might get some that's good or some that wilts like a dead flower. This is pretty good. Not sure why. The rd packaging is different than what I see in the local stores so I don't know if it's a different way of making it, but this is good pasta.

not only did this travel on a ship allegedly from Italy, the Best Buy date had already PASSED before I even ordered it.isn't there a law about selling past due food, especially things that can contain invasive bugs?not happy.....diane

There's nothing that I don't like about the pasta. I've used it in a variety of dishes both hot and cold. Because of the shape sauces stick to it better than other varieties. It's on my Subscribe and Save list and will remain there. Good stuff!!

This is one of my favorite pasta varieties. The shape is easier to eat with a fork than most cuts of pasta. Has a nice texture when cooked al dente.

OK well packaged I haven’t tasted it yet but it looks amazing😊😊
