I asked before purchasing if this would work on Shiba type hair. I’ve groomed dogs 45 years Many people said yes. It doesn’t take out even one hair and she was shedding already. Tried it on a few other breeds too this is useless. was past my return time when I first used it. Don’t waste your money . Waste of my money

This does a great job of taking the undercoat out of my two cockers. It's not too sharp either. I do it in the bathtub when they are wet and it takes out lots of back hair. I would buy it again.

Works fabulously on my wirehaired Jack Russell mix as well as my shepherd mix. Love the 32 blade option as the smaller blades don’t seem to get all the loose hair. Product is made well and comfortable to hold.

Good construction, do a little research, order a variety of grooming tools. For terrier-type breeds these are great and will pay for themselves as you do your own dog-grooming.

Great for "hand" stripping my Border Terrier's fur. This does an excellent job and helps lessen the stripping by hand. I have three sizes of Ryan's Pet stripping tools, and they are perfect.
