This is a great value Some people complained about the size being small, but I don't see why. I'm 5'9" and a size 14 but I could fit both my legs into the blanket and pull it up to my waist just fine, even before I removed the single circular yarn piece binding the base of the tail closed. Now, after removing that piece, I can fit both my feet into the tail fin area, pull the blanket up to my chest and it still looks great. For $15, it's a great deal (a plus size mermaid blanket on Etsy is over $100!) and I would definitely buy more for friends and family.The only draw back is that it's not super warm! But it looks great so I'll be happy to use this in spring, summer and early fall.

It really is a pretty and fun blanket, but the SMELL! I saw a couple of other reviewers complain that it smelled musty or like glue. Apparently to correct this, the company decided to wrap an air freshener in the blanket because that's how mine came, and HOLY cow that is a STRONG terrible smelling air freshener. I have washed the blanket three times and cannot get the smell out. It definitely smells like a strong perfume smell that is being used to cover up another smell. At least a musty smell would come out when washed.

Was a Christmas gift for my daughter, she loved it. Was not as long as I thought that it would be. She is 5'5 and it just went up to her chest if she pulled at it. The color and 'scale' knit detail was perfect.

I love this thing! It didn't smell bad when I got it. Comes up far enough to put your arms in it. The very bottom where your feet stick out is a little snug, but not terrible.

The quality of this blanket was much better than I expected! It is beautiful and my 23 year old daughter loves it!! She is still a little mermaid princess at heart! Lol she is 5'3" and it covers her up to her chest!! I will be buying more as Christmas gifts!!

This arrived exactly on the date it was supposed to despite snow and bad weather, and when it arrived I was astonished at how beautiful it was! Exactly like the picture!! I bought to give as a gift to my cousin and she (and her mom!) absolutely loved it, I think I'll be buying myself one!

Color and pattern is exactly like the picture. very soft. definitely for teenagers or adult. In my opinion nothing more than 5 foot 5 maybe 160 pounds tops.

Very cute and worth the small price I paid. It's very long. I'm 5'2 and it comes up to my neck. The back is open, so my plus sized body fits in it. The color is slightly different than the picture; it's blue with threads of purple in it.
