They don't work if they don't fit
The critical bit of information which SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED for any prospective buyer is that the aperture through which you need to fit the arms of your glasses is ONLY 6mm WIDE - and it does NOT expand.Hence if you have arms which are more than 6mm wide, this spectacle cord is completely useless.You simply will not be able to get the grip on your glasses.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND all prospective purchasers check whether the widest part of the arms of their glasses measures 6mm or less. Designs vary and very many glasses have arms which are more than 6mm - despite the supplier insisting that this was "the standard width"!In theory I'm getting a refund refunded (it's not yet landed on my credit card nor is it listed as pending) after complaining that this information needed to be highlighted much more and/or customers should be advised to measure their glasses. I will have to wait to see whether it happens in practice.
