Great quality, and great construction. The nest is very sturdy, and my parakeet loves the nest. Has enough room to raise at least 3 babies at a times. If you have other parakeets in the cage, there will be at least one that is very destructive, and likes to chew the wood. My advice with the nest, is to place two thick rags on top of the nest, or maybe two thick socks. This will prevent other parakeets from destroying the wood nest.

The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely love these nests as you can see on the video I have 2, I birds have already made use of one and hatched 2 babies and second one is right on their heels. I totally recommend it.

I have a fairly large cage and six parakeets that are now adults. I purchased three of these with intent to facilitate baby birds with my couples. Unfortunately the birds chewed the crap out of them, they are still kind of functional but they were never really used as nesting boxes just as poop platforms and chew toys

I really appreciate that it can be placed inside the cage as well. I have 3 budgies in a large parrot cage, so the openings and bar spacing aren't the same as the pet store cages they came in. This met out needs very well.

Wood is to soft for my birds

These boxes are nice quality my birdies love them so much that they are pairing up. Oh no!!

Our budgies always have a big problem with chipping the opening hole bigger and bigger till the house is no use so this thing comes in handy.

The nesting box seems fine, but I gave it two stars because the hole was on the right, not the left as pictured. I purchased this intentionally because it would work for my bird cage...but now it doesn't.
