Great model
Dropped a star because the model doesn’t match the build instructions. There should be a post to hold the upper and lower hull together but it just ain’t there on the model so had to adapt and improvise

Go for a Tamiya.
I bought this as I was after a Hellcat and have never had too many issues with airfix.The moulding is ok, theres very little in the way of flash, and the finished product is pretty good, but the build process is beset by issues.It's a frustrating build, spending a lot of time searching across numerous sprues for parts, instructions arent great and leave a lot ot guessworkIf you are after a hellcat and need one for your collection then go for it, but if you're just after a tank to build go for anything by Tamiya or Revell.
