Life Lessons from the Heart of Horses: How Horses Teach Us About Relationships and Healing

Some of the stories are sad and break my heart but it is a wonderful read. Stories are short so you can enjoy if you enjoy reading but like me don't have much time.

At first I was disappointed since it seemed this book was all about the author instead of horses. But as I continued to read I was thoroughly fascinated by the work she does with horses. It is definitely worth the read.

I rarely use 'bookmarks' as I read on my kindle but with this book I found myself tagging almost every page. So many resonances. So many matching, supportive, validating expressions of what I know to be true. Thank-you, Kathy. This writing articulated the clarity necessary to jump 'all in' to my next life purpose....helping people heal through presence with the sacred. Sacred ground. Sacred equines. Thank-you. Thank-you. Thank-you. Well done! I look forward to being a steward for my herd and helping people understand the greatness of our equine friends in a whole new paradigm. Thanks to you, I don't need to write a book and can simply recommend yours!

This book is wonderful. Horses are beautiful creatures. Reading about them and how they act is very comforting.

This is such a unique horse book. It focuses on relationships with horses through body language, thought processes, attitude and state of being. The stories are fascinating. I have such a passion for horses and this book spoke to me.

This exquisitely written book is not only for horse lovers(although you will fall in love with these magnificent beings through the stories told). Each chapter provides the reader with thought provoking questions, the context for which are teaching moments gifted by the Horse, translated by the author and woven in such a way as to transport we humans into the story itself. As one emotionally dives through the layers of each event, honest answers to those questions arise from deep within.

Wow, just started the book and find is super easy to read and understand. Kathy Writes in such a way that she explains a deep subject in simple form that helps with understanding the material. Can't wait to get through the book and order some of her other books.
