Ikon X3 Slant Head Razor with Bulldog Handle

This a smooth shaving razor like this razor alot

I’ve bought ikon x3 slant bulldog handle on Amazon.com last week.I found one rust on the bottom of my plate. So i asked to exchange ma plate.But tIkon customer service manager answer as blow.“That part is aluminum and can’t rust, what you have is very slight discoloration and will in no way affect the use of the product.”Disciloration??? When i rub this part i realized it’s a dent. I sent pic also but they sent warranty policy.‘Warranty does not cover damage due to improper use, normal wear and tear (e.g. scratches),buyer’s remorse, as well as defects that have a negligible effect on the operation of razor and or item.’So….i should shut up and use dentfull IKon x3 slant razor.Thanks.I own Above the tie s2 slant, Razorock wunderbar slant, Timeless razor titanium full kit, Feather AS D2. Rockwell S6.ONLY IKON X3 HAS DENT.

Edit - I've bumped it up to 4 stars now. One extra star because the seller was great at communicating with me and offered a refund if I wasn't satisfied, and another star because I've found a way to make the razor really work for me. It still has a lot of play, but if I force the blade fully to one side and use it for the passes of that shave session, it becomes more efficient and aggressive, and works quite well. I then loosen the top and shove the blade so it sticks further out the other side, and use that side for the next shave session.There is definitely room for improvement on the design, but using it the way I do it is the best razor I've used thus far, though I've admittedly only used one or two others. I plan to use it this way for a long time though, so the design flaw/extra blade slop worked out in my favor.My experience apparently isn't typcial going by what many say online, but my x3 has very poor blade alignment that causes uneven shaves, whereas many online users report no such issues with theirs. I have to use my fingernail to jam the blade back in straight then tighten it down, else the blade gets forced into a crooked position. This gets it mostly straight but there is still deviation in its alignment from blade replacement to blade replacement. Reading online its not how this slant razor was designed, and the blade should naturally align with the top cap.I am working with the vendor though and they seem eager to help me out. I'll update the star rating if/when I end up with an example that works as intended.Bulldog handle is nice and stout though, I can recommend that for sure.

My favorite Ikon so far. Very smooth shave with super crystal blades. Somehow as close as OSS but as light a touch as 101 head. As you tighten the head just nudge blade with thumb nail so the blade is centered.

Too mild for me! I was hoping this razor was going to be at least medium aggressive. Three passes with this razor and not even close to baby butt smooth shave! Reminds me of the Feather D2. Everybody's different! Looks good! Just not for me.
