WestbrassASB-2B3-62 Sink Top Waste Disposal Air Switch and Dual Outlet Control Box, Flush Button, Matte Black

Westbrass makes a very high quality button, solid, THICK brass, with an Oil Rubbed Bronze that matches my Moen faucet well, BUT, the quality control of the button finish is poor. I've bought and returned 2x, and only on the 3rd order that I received a button that is not scratched and without blemish. Note that the long shaft switch that the brass button rests on is plastic, but at the same time, it is longer than most (if not all) other switches on the market, which is a must for (infrequent) installations where the granite top and plywood subsurface together measure up to 2 2 1/2" in thickness.

The outlet I got was side by side, instead of vertical like the one pictured. That makes my new side by side outlet lose an extra outlet. Also, the button is not brass as it appears to be advertised. It isn't pretty polished brass like the picture would lead you to believe. It's a dull plastic. It matches our other polished brass accessories close enough to not go through the hassle of returning it. Other than that, it works as expected. Just note that it is NOT the product pictured.

This was exactly what we needed for our new kitchen island. It plugs into an outlet and there is no electrical connection to the switch - just an air tube. Push it in about a half inch and the disposal comes on, push it again and the disposal is off. We mounted it on the face frame of the cabinet a few inches away from the edge of the sink and it's in a perfect position. The push button is hidden under the granite lip and is not noticeable until it is needed. Great product. Easy installation. We couldn't be happier. Shipping was also fast. Top drawer all the way around.

It works fine but the switch if press hard it went down and stuck in the cylinder and had to wiggle to get it out.

The switch functions wonderfully, however the Rubbed Oil Bronze color does not match what is pictured on the website nor our expectations.

Missing a crucial bit of information. No instructions included - how big a hole to drill in counter. The only instruction sheet gives the dimensions of the box that plugs into outlet - who cares?

It works - the switch being metal rather than plastic was the biggest selling point and the main reason as I do not like painted plastic parts as in time the finish may peal off. Easy install.

Have had it for about 3 months and still works perfect. Took like 10 minfs to install and that was cause I took my time drilling through my countertop so that it woukd come out nicely
