Elite-level soap
I have five different Zingari Man soaps, two bought here (The Gent, The Master). In fact, I have more Zingari Man shave soaps than any other maker. There are a few reasons for this:1. Performance. Zingari Man soaps are excellent performers, with great slickness and post-shave feel. I also find them easy to lather.2. Scent. The scents are all excellent (some by perfumers) and enticing. Also, the scent strength is just right. (Great care is taken in making sure that the scents are not too strong, to avoid any skin irritation).3. Artwork. I love soaps with great artwork. Recent Zingari Man soaps feature gorgeous artwork I enjoy looking at.I don’t think I’ll stop at five soaps…

Performance + Scent = Happy Shave
Wow. I've used several Zingari Man soaps and find the Sego soap base to be top-notch. They lather easily for me, the slickness is excellent, and the post-shave feel is superb. So for any given ZM soap for me it boils down to how does the scent grab me. The Rambler grabbed me by the soul. I usually do a three-pass shave with some touch-up. Each pass I was amazed to find myself saying "I don't want this to be over!" Of the scents listed in the description I noticed the red fruit most strongly during the shave (and it was heavenly). After following up the shave with the matching splash (spoiler: get it) I find an hour later that the red fruit has retreated slightly to leave a perfectly balanced scent that is complex, masculine and satisfying.

Rates a solid "Meh"
Zingari Man Watchman shave soap is very sweet and fruity smelling, like something you'd grab at Bath & Body Works to put in a 12 year old girl's Christmas stocking. It's definitely not a smell I want to linger on my face. The lather quality is pretty much middle-of-the-road, better than some artisan soaps (Chiseled Face) but not nearly as good as others (Barrister & Mann). It's certainly not good enough to justify the premium price tag. Overall this was a pretty big disappointment, and next time I buy shave soap I'm gonna give Zingari Man a hard pass.

Great Soap
People saying they can't lather this soap are either not taking enough time or they're way off with the water. This soap, and other great soaps, take time to lather from my experience. It may take a good minute or two, or longer if you are getting enough soap for 3 passes. It takes time to BUILD a lather. The scent of the one I got is fantastic. Slight hint of citrus which I happen to enjoy. The glide is tremendous as well. I'd never heard of this soap until I saw it in a YouTube video. Glad I did.

disappointment
Was expecting a great shave. Didn't like the scent, the lather wasn't as good as the inexpensive Arko I've been using.

Good quality, nice scent.
many tubs of other soap. This is a good shaving soap with a nice smell, does not irritate my skin. In my opinion this soap is similar to Mitchells Wool Fat for moisturizing and slickness. I also recommend the Gent.

A work of art in every way
Everything about this soap is wonderful. The scent is unique and pleasant. The glide it provides is outstanding and it lathers like a dream. Heather's products and customer service are second to none. Zingari Man = a premium shaving experience. I highly recommend The Master.
