This poor child was unwanted by her parents. Her mother introduced her to the demon drink when she was a child and because of this, this young lady remained dependent on drink for many years to come. But worse was to come because of the hate and abuse her mother showed her the girl asked to be taken into care, thinking that she would be safe in foster care. But she was put in a children s home instead, where her life spiralled out of control in the worse possible way imaginable. The book continues to tell her life story which makes a terrible read that is to say her life was hell on earth. This is a remarkable young lady, who has fought against life and everything it's thrown at her..What is there left to say except I wish this young lady the very best of good wishes for the future. This is not a story but an account of someone's life and the horrors of what she endured..God Bless you Zoe, keep you courage up you deserve the best.

This is a book that’s been both difficult to read and also well written to read. Such a unjust life to live, to be forced to live has clearly carried this woman through her life and even with the financial consequences, it can never take away what shouldn’t have ever happened. This is a must read true life book. It’s just so heartbreakingly sad that it’s only one of many similar stories.

This was such a moving experience read, how someone could of been so let down by humans , and people of a professional, capable of doing and helping the terrible abuse and neglect to be stopped but failed miserably, and how this girl managed to survive and become a kind , caring, very professional and highly intelligent, human being. to make a difference to the world we live in . Well done u are amazing in every way .

So sad & horrific abuse by everyone who should of protected her. Especially her mother who doesn't even warrant that title.. I'm glad she found a true friend cos she needed one. I just want to wrap my arms around her. I have 5 sons and love them to bits. Couldn't carry girls so would love to have had a daughter.. Yet all this lady wanted was a mothers love. Some people don't deserve children who should be seen as a gift.

This is possibly the most harrowing book I have ever read, it has taken longer to read as I had to keep putting it down as I couldn't bear to read the next part. Zoe asked for help from so many agencies and she was let down continually. How she has survived and turned her life around shows true determination and courage I wish you peace and happiness for your future and hope you can start to rebuild your life
