This product does not keep it's traction. The "traction" surface was great for the first day, but wears off incredibly fast, within a day or two if you are actually "wearing" your shoes. They also do not stay on for more than a couple of days. I work in a restaurant and this was a complete waste of money. First day was fine, second day I was slipping again due to traction surface of pads having already worn off, and then the pads falling off, one by one. I thoroughly scrubbed and prepped the soles of my shoes before putting these on, so application process was NOT the issue. They are also quite small if using on regular shoes. They would probably be fine for a pair of high heal type shoe? Ones you wear very briefly and don't do much "walking around" in, like shoes you wear to the office where you then mostly sit all day.

I purchased a pair of athletic shoes that were incredibly slippery. (Who would ever think that sneakers could be dangerous?) I bought a pair of very expensive athletic shoes by mail and didn't try them on for a number of months. (Yes, I know - not very bright.) When I finally did put them on, the bottoms were so slippery that as soon as I stood on our carpeting, I instantly fell. I tried roughing up the soles with sandpaper and that didn't work at all. Then I found these non-skid pads and they are wonderful! I applied them to my shoes several months ago and they haven't budged. So, they certainly stay put once you apply them. You just peel off the paper backing to reveal the sticky side and then apply them wherever you need them. They work like a charm and I can now wear my athletic shoes on any surface and not worry that I'm going to fall. Bravo, Kiwi!

I put these on my brand-new van type shoe--they were extremely slippery on my hardwood floors. The adhesive literally did not work at all. Had some gorilla glue and now they are staying on. Tried them on my floors just now and they are so much better. Time will tell how they wear but for now I am satisfied.

I purchased some shoes that have very hard rubber bottoms that slip. As someone with a walking disability, I was worried about slipping. These pads were a quick and effective fix at a very reasonable cost.

Better that I had expected. They stick to synthetic sole of my house shoes, New Balance walking shoes and leather of my dress shoes. Have really reduced my slipping in house shoes on smooth indoor floors and eliminated it totally on carpet. I am ~65 had have had 4 major surgeries this last year and these non-skid pads certainly make me feel better about not slipping and falling. Highly recommend. Worked great on hospital floors on my last stay, too!!
