Q: Is the camera waterproofed? Does it have night vision?

i am currently using this system, very good quality!=)this camera is water proof, you can install indoor and out door, it has night vision.

Q: Any experience with the camera's connecting to the monitor through walls; distance, signal strength, etc? I need 60' thru brick & 2 walls

Wooden walls are usually fine. 2 Walls reduces down the original range of 350ft so around 170ft. However, brick walls reduce the wifi signal much lower. If it does not catch the signal, we highly recommend you our extension antenna which will give you an additional extension. It is not a stronger antenna - it has a additional wire over the antenna so that you can detour the obstacles.

Q: Do you need to connect a ethernet cord to the cameras for it to record on the hvr

No, this is wireless system, so you only need to connect the power cord onto the camera. Ethernet port on the cameras is the option for the people who want to use it as a wired camera onto their existing NVR system or direct connection onto their own router. Only thing you need it just plug the power onto the cameras and the DVR and turn them on. Each of the package is pre-installed, so pairing job will be done automatically. It is just simple plug-in and play. Any issue or technical question will be answered by the manufacturer technical support. Thank you.

Q: Are cameras weatherproof?

The cameras are weatherproof, but the power adapters are not. Ive installed all but one under eaves. These have had zero problems over 3 years. The one in the weather shorted out the adapter but the camera is fine. I will need to weatherproof the adapter and connectors to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
