Good Quality Batten Light
Bought this and used it to light my workbench in the garage. It’s a very quick install if you have an existing power source as there are only the two wires (live and neutral) to connect up. The bulbs need to be fitted in the correct orientation but thankfully they are labelled with an instruction/warning. The bulbs are a plastic material, weight almost nothing and feel very flimsy. They are quick and easy to refit and are OK if handled with care. Overall, this was a good buy.

Poor Quality
It's hard to conceive how these could be manufactured more cheaply. Ordered 2 - both had multiple clips either broken or which broke as soon as any pressure was applied. Internal wiring had come adrift on one unit and it was impossible to fix due to the way they are constructed. (Sent it back & got an immediate refund). Suggest you pay twice as much to get something 4 times as good.

A good choice as the LED bulb can be changed if it ever fails.
PROSE- Easy to install- Light strios can be replaced when they fail. Most LED Battens need the whole lightr replacing as the LED lights are on a board.CONS- Clips can be brittle, but they do [provide one spare.- Take car to read the instructions first )IMPORTANT). I have fitted a lot of strip lights, but this was my first LED tube. They have to be fitted in a specific way, per the instructions. Failure to do so, stops them from lightning up, and will trip the fuse :(. No damage was caused by my mistake, simply putting both tubes in the correct way, fixed the problem. Hopefully documenting my mistake will help others avoid the same error. LED Tubes must be fitted in a specific way to function, unlike normal light tubes (non-LED 240v) which can be fitted in either direction.

How do you remove LED bulbs?
Very lightweight but no instructions to remove LED bulbs to access wiring. Very flimsy so do not want to damage fitting.
