Cen-Tec Systems 68789 Vacuum Carpet Tool with Nylon Brush Strip, 14-Inch

I wanted an attachment like this for my shop vac to cover more ground and this was it. Good for the price and a nice size. Only con is it doesn't pivot but there's an attachment (elsewhere) for that.

I love centec products but this one is only so so. The area where the material flows right at the main port before it goes to the pick up wand is narrow and pieces get stuck in there and clog it. plus it only has a narrow slot so you cant just use a finger to unclog it. While I understand this isnt meant to be like a shop vac it really doesnt take much to clog it either a small pebble or piece of paper the size of a postage stamp is enough. Wish I could give more stars but cant. If only sucking up dust it works great.

Box looks open on one side and one item is missing

Why is it so hard to find things made and designed as well as they use to be? I'd swear sometimes whoever designs certain things never even uses them. This is too high to fit underneath low furniture. And, as others have said, it doesn't have a curved neck so you need a curved wand for it. Luckily I do have that, but it also doesn't swivel side to side so you have to change your angle of vacuuming instead. Also, I think the brush underneath should be longer side to side.

Looks like original equipment but does not fit a 1.5" vacuum wand! The product is exactly like the one that I wore out, however, it must be an undersized part build in MM rather than inches. I'm going to contact the seller.UPDATE: The seller responded to email, after sending them a picture and noting that the neck of the tool which contains the groove for the wand locking ring to grasp, is 25 thousands of an inch too small. Thus the ring barely touches the notch (even when fully tightened) which fails to retain the tool. The last correspondence from them claims it's the wrong part, I'm not really sure, could very well be a defective piece. Either way, they are refunding my purchase. The tool itself appears to be nicely done though.

I just bought This product and already kinking

No angle on the part that attaches to the vacuum hose. So when vacuuming you have to pretty much kneel or lay on the floor to get the right angle.
