FLAFSTER KITCHEN Electric Salt and Pepper Mill Set (Button Operated)

Not impressed, sent back for refund.Even the outer box oozes cheap and nasty, nothing changed upon opening. Batteries very tight fit. Uses springs on all lower battery connections, this means any battery with insulation around the nipple will not work; every brand of my AA rechargeable ones are like this. (I do not use non-rechargable ones). The spring is quite a wide diameter so spans over the nipple. Connections on the cap are tiny and low quality, just like the switch mechanism feels. Could tell immediately that these would not last. Genuinely surprised by the number of good reviews!

Does not work. Came in no box or instructions. Found salt in one of them. Used and broken item sold to me. Disgusted customer. Cant get hold of the seller

Had a similar pair of a different make for some years - this is a replacement. Good sized button on top is an advantage - previous one on the side, which was easy to push accidentally - especially by visitors. The holder is a nice addition keeps them together and they look neat both on the table and on a side table with other condiments.Battery compartment robust and clearly marked with polarities.When choosing what make I was going to buy I looked for good after sales service as I think this is important. Useful as it happens as one unit failed after a few days but a single email to the supplier produced an immediate apology and a new unit within 48 hours - no problem at all. Replacement is absolutely fine.Only minor criticism is that the twist joints of the grinder unit to the motor section and lid to the battery compartment are tight, which is obviously good in itself, but needs a little more assurance in the instructions that this is OK and is not a fault and a hard twist will not break it.Recommended.

Overall, this is pretty good, works well, and quite smart.Each unit requires 4 x AA batteries, which should last some considerable time.Both have an LED light that comes on underneath when operating. They're easy to fill.The only thing that lets these down a little, is the stand, that's a bit cheap and nasty. Also, it's a little crude with sharp points underneath where the metal joins. You need to be careful not to scratch the surface it's laid on.Overall though, pretty good. I hope this is helpful.

This set looks great, but I've only been using these for a couple of months and the salt grinder now will not work at all. At first I thought it was the batteries, even though new batteries put in both grinders at the same time, but tried several new batteries in and it still will not work. The pepper one I use every day and still going strong - the salt one I only used a few times. I was really disappointed. However, I contacted the seller and they were very quick to respond and sent me a replacement set which works fine. Customer service could not have been better and I would recommend this product.Update - One of the grinders has yet again stopped working. Really disappointed as I use them every day!
