I don't do a lot of artsy craftsy stuff and definitely don't do floral arrangements; but, I bought this to use with some faux plants I'm putting out as decoration outside. These work GREAT!!!! I only needed 3 of the blocks (filled the rest of the pot with gravel), so I gave the other three to a friend who makes arrangements, etc -- who was very happy to take them off my hands!

Florist here! I love Oasis floral foam. I used one block to make the arrangement pictured. The foam keeps the flowers well secured and hydrated. I can not speak to value, but a little goes a long way, so I was satisfied with the price.Some tips:-Make sure your block is thoroughly saturated before designing with it 😊 don’t push it or force it to intake water, it’ll do that on its own.-Put flowers into foam with intentionality. The more you adjust, hem and haw, and pull stuff out the more the foam will lose its structure, and you’ll have flowers barely hanging on and falling out (I learned the hard way 😅) If you must remove something clipping it flush to the foam is the best option, that way you don’t leave a huge hole.-If you’re designing 1-2 days before display or delivery have the foam sitting in some sort of reservoir or dish, and keep it filled with water. That way the foam can keep soaking up the water, and won’t dry out.

This oasis foam soaked up water quickly and remained firm, making the floral arrangements very stable and transportable. I recently made 50 plus small arrangements and this foam cut and fit easily and was a pleasure to work with.

Overpriced for me. Using anyway. Hassle to return
