Fuel Injector Cleaner

I used this to back flush my injectors. I had to rig a contraption to reverse pressurize them of course but this unit made everything else easy. It does what it says, for 12V or high voltage (what I needed) injectors. Glad I have it.

Looks like it's well built and it's very sturdy. Good connectors, easy to read display. It does what it's supposed to do. A little pricy compared to similar units out there. Makes a great addition to my tool arsenal.

These cheap fuel injector testers have popped up recently due to China factories jumping on the bandwagon.Controllers are simple, as they are basically a square-wave PWM controller of some sort.This particular model gets more flexibility by allowing you to connect to your automotive battery for 12VDC, or use their supplied 12VDC power regulator that you can plug into your 110VAC wall outlet.This makes it a lot easier to test your fuel injector(s) away from the vehicle on a test bench.The unit also allows for testing two injectors at a time, so it has increased current capacity over most other testers that can only handle one fuel injector.The fun part is do you have enough hands to slap on the included adapter (well, they only give you one each of two types) into two spray cans?That kinda almost doesn't make any sense.While other testers have 2 or 3 modes in terms of time periods (how long to fire the fuel injectors), this unit allows for 1000RPM increments all the way up to 7000RPM - better range, but again, how useful is it really?All you need is a low range and high range, and maybe a middle range...The controller is robust and has some mass to it - it doesn't feel cheap or lightweight like it's going to shatter on a light drop.The included plugs (2 of them) on the main harness can plug into the more popular Bosch / Nippondenso type fuel injector, rectangular and oval plugs.Included are a pair of wire adapters that plug into the main harness and have separated ends that can handle almost any other type of fuel injector.I haven't tried the super high current direct injector mode - how do you simulate several hundred psi of fuel pressure??? - but it is available in it's second mode.I assume it's just a higher current circuit...For under $100, it's not that expensive, but it's competitors are about half the price.Benchtop fuel injector testers are entry priced at around $300, so it's starting to head in that direction - most of these can do up to 4 fuel injectors at a time, and are the industry standard for cleaning them.
