Works great for hanging paintings, but not sure about fishing!
I am using this to hang Paintings from a painting rail and it works great. It is almost invisible but can still hold up a very large painting.

good leader material but to big for my reel.
Should have bought the hybrid line for my reel line. Much smaller diameter for same strength line.
