Hold very well in wind
I applied these to the" thin" curtains outside..hold them 2gether in medium gusts of wind.i tried clothes pins and they didn't at all slightest wind and they blew apart. These work grt!!! Look nice not sure if they will rust since it hasn't rained yet! Let's see the outcome. I'm not sure they would hold up as well in heavier curtains! But thin light ones it works extremely well

This were perfect replacements for the plastic wind guards for my clothesline
I've started trying to hang my clothes outside to dry to help reduce electricity consumption and lengthen the life of my clothes. (Dryers are really hard on fabrics, if you didn't know, and you don't need dryer sheets if you're sun-drying, which leaves clothes smelling wonderful.) I've got a nice clothes rack (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09BTBJ8J9/) that fits on my small patio and holds a lot, but the little plastic clips that came with it soon broke. These clips not only hold clothes on the 1" round bars, they also clip to the square sides of the drying rack so they're out of the way until I need them. Although it remains to be seen how much the inner spring mechanism will rust when exposed to the elements, the coil is strong and should not fail for a very long time. Because the parts of the clip that touch my clothing are stainless steel, I am not expecting this to be an issue. I can use them for stuff in the garden as well. I'm quite pleased with them.

EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED TO HANG LIGHTS ON MY CANOPY.
Needed something lightweight but able to span the aluminum poles on my camper awnings. These are PERFECT.

Not functional for hanging clothes
These clothes pins are a great idea, and we are using them for other things. They are great for closing chip bags and things like that. But they do not work to hang clothes on a clothesline. The way the pins are made they don't clasp onto the line, only the material, so the clothes slide. What I did do is I have some very long towels that I have to use 4 clothespins to hang. I used regular wooden pins for each end and in the middle where the towel droops I used the metal pins. They could possibly work for a craft project, closing bags and things like that but not really good for the clothesline.

I love these things!
I got these to make my hand towels stay put on the towel racks in my kitchen. They work like a charm. I've found numerous uses for them, and have bought a second set. I even use them outside for various things, and they withstand the weather well. Great purchase!
